Our homemade homeschool curriculum is very literature based, we read tons of picture books each week and every time we are interested in any kind of subject we request a number of books from the library on that topic.
We are constantly maxing out our limit of 100 hold requests.
I read them books at breakfast, we listen to an audiobook at lunch and every time the kids start getting at each other I know it’s time to stop what we are doing and read a few books.
I enjoy reading books and putting them into book lists to share so for the past few weeks I’ve been working on creating what I’m calling our EPIC List of Book Recommendations – the books I think are the best of the best.
I’ve separated the list into a number of different age group categories; baby-toddler, preschool, picture books, early readers, early read alouds, grades 3-6, grades 7-9 and highschool-adult.
Access to the EPIC List will be available to those subscribed to the blog, you can do so below and access will be sent to you! (If you are already subscribed you should have received an email this weekend with access.)
